SkyWork Airlines Direct Connectivity

Swiss carrier SkyWork Airlines bookable via HitchHiker direct connect

HitchHiker has launched a new direct connectivity to SkyWork Airlines, which connects Berne Airport with numerous European and North African destinations. This direct connectivity allows the booking of SkyWork Airline flights through HitchHiker’s Flight API as well as HitchHiker’s B2B and B2C booking applications.

True to the slogan: „ SkyWork Airlines – Your Personal Way To Fly “, the Swiss airline connects 28 European and North African cities with the Swiss capital Berne. An uncomplicated and fast journey to the destination is for guaranteed!

Berne airport benefits from the shortest check-in times in Switzerland and the shortest distances within the airport. On board Skywork Airlines the customers can enjoy free ipads and comfortable, spacious seats.

The SkyWork Airlines fleet includes four Dornier 328s and three Dash 8 Q400s. All airplanes offer modern design and comfortable cabin interiors.

Axel Reissmann (Alliances, Pricing & Distribution at SkyWork Airlines) is happy about the new collaboration with HitchHiker:

„As a young and dynamic airline we are not only relying on classical Global Distribution Systems but also on XML-interfaces. Due to this fact HitchHiker is an ideal partner for SkyWork Airlines and makes it possible to expand the portfolio of sales channels. Especially our customers profit from this cooperation as the flight search via HitchHiker happens in real time. Within a short time it will also be possible to book ancillary services (e.g. sport equipment, VIP-menus) or make a seat reservation.”

Via the HitchHiker Flight API more than 60 airlines are bookable through direct connections. With our cooperation with SkyWork Airlines we are delighted to provide another interesting offer especially to our long-lasting Swiss customers, enabling them to reduce their cost of sale and to benefit from the complete tariff range and all ancillary services offered by Skywork Airlines.
