JT Touristik counts on HitchHiker
The pioneer in X-Business, JT Touristik, uses HitchHiker X-Converter

Today, the decisive competitive advantage belongs to the one who can build dynamic packages quickly, cost-effectively and at daily updated prices. The most complex part of a packaged tour is the flight. To be able to offer the broadest spectrum possible for this component, JT Touristik, as the pioneer in X-Business, has opted for the latest technology by HitchHiker. The HitchHiker X-Converter generates all elements of the flight component: fare/price, tax and timetable. The special thing about it is that all this happens without any involvement of a GDS. Thus, the data is made available extremely fast and cost-efficient. With this data generation HitchHiker is so far unique on the market. JT Touristik is the first customer using the X-Converter.

Therefore, we have been working intensively on a high-capacity solution to generate professional flight data for dynamic packages. HitchHiker Workflow using the example of JT Touristik

With the X-Converter fares, taxes and timetables are created according to the given routings by JT Touristik. Besides trips to the United Arab Emirates, a further 120 destinations belong to the product portfolio of the Tour Operator from Berlin. The flight data is exported to the JT Touristik Tour Operator System and third parties in the desired format, the choices are EDF, Kati, INFX1, INFX2, Sealtix and the HitchHiker X-Format.
